We got off to a fast start in October, quickly recovering from September woes and moving on to become the third most profitable month of 2021 for the portfolio.
Big gains for Nvidia and Microsoft among others have taken the portfolio to new highs.
Speaking of highs, the resurgence of Tesla stock towards the end of the month following the announcement of a deal with Hertz to purchase 100 thousand cars for it's fleet over the coming years certainly boosted the portfolio. This gave us a fantastic opportunity to take profits on some of our positions with headline profits of over 50%.
We remain invested in Tesla long term although with far less exposure heading into November.
It is my belief that the current price is heavily inflated and we will see correction in the coming weeks and months, at which point we may pick up some new medium-long term positions.
Reducing exposure to Palantir and Rolls-Royce were next on the list for October and we closed a small portion of our Rolls investment at a profit of 56% and a slice of Palantir at a lower 12% profit. I remain bullish in the long term for both these and they maintain a staple in the portfolio.
The build up to COP26 has seen some movement in the renewable energy sector and our positions in Sunrun and SolarEdge among others have registered solid gains as a result.
October also saw us gain 3 new copiers, wishing you all the best for your trading and success in your copy! With all portfolio copiers registering in profit at month end and November shaping up to be a solid month, I'm glad to have you all on board.

As usual, we increased portfolio equity by 1% on the last working day and I will continue to add cash each month in this way. Finally, October portfolio profit was +4.46% and we remain on track to beat the S&P500 and NSDQ100 for the year.
